Reinforced Waterproof Paper (Tar coated)

Uses: Termite and Waterproof Envelopes, Bags & File-folders, Packaging

Two layers of Kraft Paper are stuck together using bitumen. High strength thread is inserted between the two sheets of paper in both directions i.e. in the Machine Direction as well as the Cross Direction. The threads form a mesh and provides high strength and tamper-proof qualities to the paper. The tar coating provide waterproof and termite-proof qualities to the paper.

This paper is used for various types of packaging applications in Defence and Civil markets. It is also used for making envelopes, file-folders, bags etc where the need is to store documents for a long period of time.
